Billing modes
Pick who pays when you provision a connected account.
Modes

platform_pays | Your platform org (default) |
child_pays | The connected client org |
Set on POST /api/platform/connected-accounts or PATCH. Requires PLATFORM_BILLING_MODES=true.
Rules
- One credit per send. Drafts free.
- Re-sends and reminders free on sent envelopes.
- Void pending with zero signers → refund one credit.
Which mode?
- Platform pays: you bundle e-sign in your pricing (agencies, SaaS).
- Child pays: each client buys their own credits (marketplaces, enterprise).
